Discover the vibrant and expressive world of mix media and tie-dying in this hands-on workshop ran by Stephanie Quattrini. Perfect for artists of all levels, this class explores the techniques of tie-dye on various papers and fabrics. Learn to create stunning backgrounds for mixed-media pieces, unique collage materials, or stand-alone art displays. Join us and unleash your creativity with colour, pattern, and texture in this fun and engaging workshop!

Stephanie has been a practicing textile artist for 25 years and have exhibited her work in the US, New Zealand and Australia.  As well as being committed to exploring the mediums of textiles, fabric, fibers and stitch, she spends time dyeing, distorting and felting paper. Printmaking is another creative process she has embraced. She enjoys exploring printmaking techniques which allow her to create marks and images on fabric and paper more spontaneously than working with traditional printmaking processes. This focus has enabled her to share printmaking with people who would like to explore different, more immediate ways to print.

All artist materials will be supplied for this class. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced artist, this workshop is designed to be fun and accessible for everyone. Bring a friend along and discover the magic of this vibrant and freeing style of mixed media. No artistic skill is needed—just bring your enthusiasm!
