Richard Rogers specializes in teaching and painting with acrylics, helping aspiring artists unlock their creativity and gain the skills to achieve their artistic vision in whatever style they choose to work.
As well as tutoring at major art schools: Carins Art Escape; Grampians Brushes; Canberra Summer Art School; and the Mitchell School of Art; Richard has done many five-day, two-day, one day and half day workshops; and demonstrations too numerous to list. He also regularly conducts individual and group coaching clinics at this studio.
Exhibitions and Achievements
Richard has an exhibition history dating back to 1985. In 2003 his drawings of Australian wildlife have been reproduced as a card series by Watermark Publishing.
He has produced seven art instruction DVDs, one of which was given a 5-star rating when reviewed and included in Painting.about.com’s list of top ten art books for 2010.
In 2015 Richard published A guidebook for Acrylic Artist. His work has also featured in the Artist’s Palette. Australian Artist and International Artist Magazines.
