Natasha Nydegger is a figure sculptor and visual artist based in Adelaide, Australia. She was born in Sydney and grew up in the Adelaide hills. Her artistic talent was recognized and nurtured from an early age. Her passion for sculpture was ignited by a sabbatical year in europe when she was sixteen, where she was exposed to the culture and works of the great European artists.
She began exhibiting at age eighteen, with a sold out series of wall sculptures at Kensington gallery exhibited alongside drawings by John Lennon. She has also exhibited in Green Hill Gallery, Hill Smith Gallery and Lombard Art Gallery. Natasha has studied at Adelaide Central School of Art and Adelaide College of the Arts, where she learnt bronze casting. She teaches figure sculpture at BAPEA art school.
She tries to capture the youth, optimism and beauty in her sculptures. Portrait sculptures in bronze or terracotta available for commission.
